Bio

Harry Aikines-Aryeetey is a Team GB sprinter who has successfully competed on World, Olympic and Commonwealth stages. Beyond this he is also a well-known sport, social, and media personality. 

As a junior Harry was named IAAF Rising Star of the Year and BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year after becoming the first athlete to win gold medals for both the 100m and 200m at the World Youth Championships. His senior sprinting career has spanned over 15 years and is still going strong; he won the 100m at the 2020 British Championship and has plans for the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham 2022 and the Paris Olympics in 2024.  

In total Harry has competed at:

2 Commonwealth Games,
4 European Athletics Championships,
3 European Indoor Athletics Championships
and 1 World Indoor Athletics Championships. 

Off the track he’s also a well-known sports and social media personality who has appeared multiple times on A Question of Sport, in Sky documentaries and is regularly sharing his workouts and training with his social media followers.
