Serena Grace
Bio
Hey, Serena here! I’m an elite track & field athlete and coffee lover. I compete in the 60, 100 and 200m, with rankings of Top 10 in the UK. I am currently in my final year of university, studying BSc PE, Sport & Health. With 10 years' experience in the sport and fitness industry, alongside my knowledge gained from my undergraduate degree, I strongly excel in sport psychology. Being an athlete myself, I have been able to experience the many inevitable challenges, and therefore, most of my academic writing is guided around understanding the person behind the athlete and building mental fitness. Being physically active is great, however, mental well-being is also a vital component of being healthy, to fulfil one’s athletic and sporting potential.
What Do I Do?
As well as being a full-time university student, I am a qualified Fitness Instructor & Personal Trainer. I also work as an activity leader at a children's holiday club, which I absolutely love. When I’m not on the track, at the gym or in the lecture hall, I’m most likely at the coffee shop sipping on a cappuccino, listening to a podcast.
