Non slipBest mat for fitness and Pilates Definitely non slip as it says perfect cushioning not to disturb balance or control

Exercise matUsed for tabata workout. Good size and thickness, fit for purpose. One star deducted for edge mashed in transit but not worth returning

Good quality but could be better.Pros- doesn’t slip and slide too much, and i use it on a tiled floor, just the right amount of cushioning, looks like it will last but time will tell. Cons- i use it for HIIT training and have been using socks and your feet do slide when holding positions for plank or similar exercises, i have considered bare feet but hands also slide quite a bit when sweaty on the mat, so bare feet will not help. Now going to have in invest in some gym gloves as the sliding hands is a problem.

Soft, but has issuesThe mat is thicker than my old workout mat, but lighter. It seems to move about over the floor as a result, but has never slipped. The material is comfortable when lying down, but not very hard wearing; I found slices and cuts in the top layer after only a couple of workouts wearing shoes. The top layer also doesn’t seem particularly grippy against bare skin; doing a downward dog I feel like my hands are trying to slip away; a feeling I never got on my old mat.

OKI bought it specifically for grip - which it does. I would have preferred softer material so the rolled ends grip better when the mat is rolled open and the surface is beginning to wear noticeably after only a couple of weeks - not hugely impressed.

The mat should not wear after such a short time under normal use. Are you wearing trainers when you are using it that are damaging it? Please get in touch.
