Bench not for adultsI bought this to upgrade my very cheap Argos 50kg similar set. I wasn't impressed with the bench. The bench pivot isn't as wide as the main strut, so if you do the nuts up tight the stands buckle inwards. It doesn't feel very sturdy. It's not wide enough for a adult male, and I'm by no means broad. The leg straps have no chance for an average adult. The Bar and weights feel good quality, but not all the weights will fit on the barbell with the collars...so don't buy this thinking you could progress to benching or lifting the full 100kg. Probably ok for teenagers, but if you're a fully grown adult I recommend you buy a bench, some squats stands and the bar and weights separately, I wish I did - gutted after waiting so long for this to come into stock.

Check before u purchasePlease do not buy these products from this company. I ordered the 100kg weights and bench package. Waited for it to arrive and the bench that comes with it is absolutely useless unless you are a tiny teenage boy. It is so thin and so uncomfortable that literally I can't use it. Contacted them to say I wanted to return the whole package as i can't use the weights without the bench for the lifting I want to do. I got a standard email directing me to a page telling me basically that I have to cover the return!!! They have no courier to help and now I'm left that I can't return this package because due to the weight of it, it's probably going to cost way over 100 pounds, without the hassle of even finding a company that will do pick up in northern ireland and return to England. Please order with caution.

The bench supplied with the package is an entry level weight bench that is designed for beginners who are looking to start lifting. For experienced lifters or customers who are wide across the chest and shoulders this bench would not be ideal. Please refer to the bench dimensions when purchasing.
