So Called Olympic SizeHi, I ordered this hex bar purely for convenience of adding on weights, however I have come across a glaring issue with the bar itself. The so called 2" or olympic size is incorrect, my olympic collars that work on all my other bars just slip right off this. So, after about 3 heavy deadlifts the clips are at the end of the bar and the weights all over the place, maybe a spring collar would work but those are ancient and rubbish. This does not happen on the swiss bar that I bought which has the same texture as this kit. So all in all, if you rely on collars for holding your weighs in place, they most likely won't fit this kit.
