Good starter beltThis is the first belt I've bought, so I've not got a comparison against other belts. For 10 quid it does the job and has helped my bracing for squats and deadlifts.

AwfulBought a few bits from mirafit and always been impressed but this is trousers. Sizes are too small. Used for about a month, get into a low squat position and the velcro just unfastens and it falls off. As they say buy cheap buy twice

poor velcroI purchased a medium size a few months ago which is only just small enough for me. Support is good, but recently the vecro started slipping when doing heavy RDLs - not ideal. There should have been little chance of this as the amount of overlap of the velcro is as large as it can be - I can only assume that the velcro is rather poor quality. I have a pair of bear grips that have quite a small vecro fastening and that vecro never slips. Unfortunately, a belt that can slip when lifting heavy is no use at all, so I only use this belt with a leather buckle belt over the top to prevent slippage.
