Very well built, but gathering dust :(I really wanted to like these but they feel like a v1 product that hasn't really been thought through. On the plus side, they are extremely well built, which ironically is part of the problem. The #1 flaw with them is no lockouts. Half the attraction was seated shoulder press, or chest press, but without any way to lock out the starting position, the already heavy arms are really too difficult to use for like this. I was able to work around this by using the arms facing inwards and having them catch on spotter arms mounted on the opposite posts, but it's a lot of setup/teardown time and interferes with other exercises. I also got the utility platform and kinda rigged up a leg press but the force curve isn't right (although better with bands and pegs) and the holes strangely don't align very well. Getting it into position was also extremely difficult. They're probably best for belt squats, but then you'd only need one, not a pair, and without a kickstand, they're not very usable either. I'd really like to like them but overall the compromises mean they stay off the rack, gathering dust. If mirafit re-engineered the mounting to include lockouts and/or a trolley (like Vendetta, for example) that could be retro-fitted, I'd take a second look but for me at least, they're hard to recommend. A rare miss - everything else I have has been great.
