DecentThese are very stinky when delivered, they need a wipe down. the black coating is also not perfect, where it is cast there are marks on the non coated bits like drops of paint and where it is joined there are flappy non cut parts, so it's not perfect but the weights are good and get the job done.

Tried but switched back to regular platesThe plates are good quality but I found that the hex shape actually caused more issues than it solved problems. Yes the hex shape stops them rolling on the floor, but mid-set this stops you being able to easily make micro-adjustments to reposition the bar for symmetric/balanced lifting if you set it down out of position. I've gone back to using regular round plates. Your mileage may vary.

SlipperyI don't know if it's only me but I have found the rubber casing to be very slippery, whether this will fade in time I will have to wait and see. Already dropped one so casing does work.

These plates are supplied with a light coating to preserve the rubber during storage and transportation. This should be removed using a damp cloth on arrival. Thanks -
Good quality but look boringThey are good quality but I prefer the coloured ones because they are softer and look nicer.

Good plates, poor packagingI'm in the process of building a home gym and decided to get some plates that were good quality, so I went with Mirafit after a recommendation from a personal trainer friend of mine. They came sooner than I had expected which was a good start however I was unhappy with the state they arrived in as the boxes had been torn apart and looked damp. Even the delivery person made a comment about how badly they'd been packaged. I did still need a power rack and bench but I'm not so sure I'll be getting it from here now since I can't imagine how they would arrive unscathed when the plates didn't..
