Space Saver & Value for MoneyI spent a lot of time debating to get these or the m3 loadable variant. I was running out of room in my home gym so thought I’d take the plunge with loadable dumbbell bars. I picked the smaller version at 5kg. I chose these because they have a weight of 5kg firstly. This makes it easier to do the progressive weight addition maths. Secondly was that it saves tonnes of room. I used to have a hex set and rack. These have now replaced that and save a lot of room. Thirdly, as the sleeve is over 13cm it works well with their 3cm collars which I bought a pair of. This gives you lots of loading room. I bought the mirafit extra thin steel plates fractional and two sets of 5kg. The plates don’t knock my legs and don’t feel large. They are also thin enough to really stack on the sleeve. Finally was the overall bar length. At over 40cm doing things like shoulder presses, chest presses, and bicep curls isn’t an issue and the bars don’t knock together for me. I originally thought loading would waste time, but as the collars are quick grip, and plates slide smoothly onto the sleeve it works really well, and I use the weight changes as rest breaks. The bars themselves are excellent quality. They feel sturdy and look great. The clips hold the plates well and I have no issues of them sliding off of if I do tricep extensions. As the centre grip spins all actions feel nice and smooth. Delivery as usual was fast and efficient. Very happy with them and they will be my forever dumbbell.
