ExcellentJust received my stubby axle bar excellent quality love using it for military presses along with my sparten 24kg kettlebell swings and pullups on my doorway pullup bar have variety of complex workouts and the axle bar really challenges the workouts highly recommended the axle bar top notch quality

Excellent BarGreat piece of kit! Takes your training to a whole other level. Prepare to drop the weight and ache in places you never knew you could ache! I’m using this bar for deadlifts and overhead press. Totally recommend this bar.

Great bit of kitHad mine for 3 weeks now and got a few workouts in with my axle bar. It's a great bit of kit that adds that extra challenge for my strength training. I love that it's smooth which makes my grip work harder.

Great quality but sleeve a little shortI love this bar for the thick grip. I don't specifically want to work on grip strength but I have fairly large hands/palms and find the standard olympic bar diameter uncomfortably narrow - I always find myself trying to use grip pads or other methods to 'pad out' the diameter, but all the workarounds I've tried have drawbacks. So this increased diameter is great. However I don't love that the grip isn't knurled - I'm not sure that making the bar slippy specifically helps with improving grip strength - I'd like to see knurling added. I also found the sleeve length a little short - its fine if you're lifting light or using thin metal plates but if you use wider bumper plates then you can swiftly run out of sleeve length for plates.
