    A serious bit of kit!
    Review

Wow, I was considering a door frame pullup bar; but thankfully chose this wall mounted pull up bar instead. It's definitely a serious piece of kit. It has some serious weight to it and once mounted it's ridiculously stiff. There's absolutely no movement in it at all. There are plenty of grip options, allowing for progressively increasing skill and ability. The bar will easily host a TRX or rings etc. The width away from the wall is ideal, it allows for a certain degree of swinging for those of us who aren't able to perform the strictest of pullups! ;) The mounting does take time and skill. Definitely one for the experienced DIYer. I mounted to a solid brick wall, by myself, and I chose the method below. Rather than the included bolts I used 6 x M10 75mm Rawl bolts from Screwfix, you'll also need a 16mm masonary drill bit too, with a hammer action drill. 1) Make the pull up bar, tighten bolts. 2) Place the pull up bar on a sheet of corrugated plastic (this is to make a wall mounting template). 3) Mark out the (wall) holes on the sheet with a Sharpie. 4) Draw a straight line from edge to edge of the sides (this line then can be used to place a spirit level against to get the bar perfectly level). 5) Place the template against the wall, once in the perfect position hold in place with duct tape. Use the line drawn in step 4, as well as a spirit level to ensure a perfect level. 6) With a 6.5mm masonary drill, drill pilot holes into the marked templates holes from step 3. 7) Remove the template from the wall and take the pull up bar apart. Place one arm of the pullup bar against the drilled pilot holes. Ensure that the arm and holes align. Repeat for the other side. (This is so that any mistake can be corrected prior to drilling full size holes). 8) Using the 16mm masonary drill bit, drill out the six pilot holes. 9) Clean out the six pilot using a blower or equivalent (make sure they are totally dust free). 10) Tap in a shield into each of the six holes, ensuring the shield is flush with the wall. 11) Place one arm against the three holes, place in bolts and finger tighten. Repeat for the other arm. 12) Place the main pullup bar across the two arms, use the 4 included bolts and tighten. 13) Once happy with general fitting tighten all bolts. 14) You're done!

Simply, fantastic product. No better pull up bar than this one, if you ask me.
  3. So ideal, I can't believe it's only £70!
    Review

You do wonder if it's too good to be true when you see such a seemingly well-rounded bit of kit for just 70 quid, don't you. I feared that the grips would be like an axle bar designed to test the grip of the BFG, or that the knurling would be so savage, it would be like rock climbing up a cheese-grater - I have had experience with both of these types of bar in the past. However, this bar is comfortably narrow, grippy without any sharp edges, assembles easily and forms a really sturdy unit. I've added the Mirafit gymnastic rings to mine (£40), making a whole body, multi-directional bodyweight workout possible for just £110 - Some people spend that every month on a gym membership...
  4. AMAZING

100% worth getting it’s not like flimsy ones I’ve had before! Only thing I would say it has large attached to the wall, I put it up above a door and it’s a lot higher than I would have liked but other than that no complaints it’s great! Defiantly recommend
  5. If you got the space, don’t hesitate
