IndestructibleProbably the sturdiest bench on the market. Being IPF sized makes it the perfect bench for a powerlifters garage gym.

This is the one...Delivery was quicker than expected, and the bench well packed. Well designed so it's very easy to assemble (17mm & 19mm spanners required). I have the "original" pad version; the length and width is perfect for support - and of course the height of the pad is perfect for getting your feet planted, even for a shorty like me! The usual problem of slipping up the bench with planted feet is non-existent with the pad material used. As a whole this is better than any bench I've owned or used in a gym. I could have went cheaper to meet my needs - I'll never test the max load claim! - but as insurance that I'll always have the bench under me, well that's why I bought this beast! And to be fair to Mirafit, although it might seem like a lot of money for the bench, you get a lot of bench for the money. This was the one I kept coming back to as I deliberated over "which bench", and I don't regret the decision. Highly recommended. (And I hate doing reviews.)

Invest in the thick wide pad - Incredible!I had been looking into alternatives to a Thompson Fat Pad (as nowhere stocks one in the UK and I would've had to have paid a ridiculous amount of import duty and shipping from the US on one) when I stumbled accross this bench (with the Extra Wide/Thick Pad) from Mirafit. I have purchased other equipment from Mirafit prior and been very pleased with the build quality and finish and let me tell you, this product is no different, in fact, it is incredible! This is easily the best bench I have ever used, commercial gym or otherwise. The large pad is only about a cm off in width to that of the Thompson Fat Pad and very close in terms of other dimensions. You feel really well supported whilst bench pressing due to the pad and the anti-slip material on top really helps to maintain position throughout. Loads of padding and your shoulders don't hang off like on other benches so theres no pinching against the rear of your shoulders. The bench feels super heavy duty and high quality, the whole thing is very heavy compared to other benches and this is the only real drawback (if you class this as one). Coming from a 160kg bencher this is everything you could want and more and from recent sets just in the last week of using it I feel like I could add an extra 5kg to my normal working sets it's that good and provides such an advantage to your pressing. I don't normally leave reviews on anything (out of laziness probably) but I had to on this. If you're on the fence about which pad to get, invest the money and get the most expensive (in my opinion, best) one and in terms of other benches/brands look no further, reasonable pricing, outstanding quality. To re-iterate: THE Best Bench I have ever used.

Excellent benchBrought this bench after original bench was to short and used to rock when I did dumbell bench presses. The Mirafit bench is built like a tank solid as a rock with a nice long pad that is very comfortable. I looked at lots of benches before I brought this one, there were problems with the other benches pad not wide enough pad not long enough bench to high from the ground. This bench had everything right good height the pad was perfect and it was built like a tank and was excellent value for money. To sum up a superb bench for a great price.

the Biggest Baddest bench of them allThis bench came in yesterday, packaged really well. took 10 mins to assemble nice and easy and all i can say is wow the most overbuilt bench I've ever seen so heavy and solid not a budge. i went for the ultimate wide pad and anyone on the edge of what pad to buy i highly recommend. will probably do a youtube review once the garage gym is complete. Ive added a picture for size comparison next to an ikea unit. BUY THIS BENCH
