Perfect sizeThis bar is a great space saver compared to 7ft bars and fits perfect on the M4 rack.

Perfect rackable short barbell for garage gymI bought this as I needed a short barbell for my garage gym, I wanted it to be short so it was a manageable size, have the normal length bar grip, so it was rackable as well as good for sumo lifts and more dynamic movements. This fits the bill nicely, good quality, great finish, knurling is a good level and spin is enough for a balance between different exercises. Packaging and delivery were great, I highly recommend it

Great bar for garage gymGood size, a perfect design for a smaller space but is still rackable. Very nice workmanship. "A piece of gear for life" sort of a vibe.

Perfect for a UK Single GarageI've had this bar for about 3 months now and it's a lovely bit of kit. It's well made and the sleeves rotate smoothly. It arrived quickly and was very well packaged, so much so that it was difficult to get it out of the packaging. I have a single UK sized garage, so little more than 7-8ft in width and about 7.5ft in height. With the limited space I had, I was placing my M230 squat rack side on, near the garage entrance and having measured how much space I would need for a standard 7ft bar, I decided the 6ft bar was the better option to leave room for loading the sleeves at either side and not catching it on the walls or ceiling. The bar fits the rack nicely and weighs 15.3kg, rather than 20kg for the standard 7ft bar. The reason I went with this bar instead of a cheaper version is the standard 28mm grip, compared to thinner 25mm grips, plus it looks and feels great. I've mainly been using it for squats and bench, but never loaded more than around 65kg of plates on to it. The sleeves easily have room for more. I'm 6'2", 200lbs and the only limitation I've found with the shorter bar is that landmine exercises really could do with a 7ft bar for that extra stretch. Shorter persons may not have this issue though. is it worth the extra money over a non-M3 version?......absolutely. You won't regret it.
