Pleased with qualityI bought the shorter dumbbell bars with the 10cm sleeves. I've been very happy with the quality. When paired with the extra thin metal plates, they work really well. It can be useful to get some thin 1" collars. I couldn't get any from Mirafit, so I ordered from elsewhere. The bars have an advantage over conventional dumbbells in that you can set the weight very precisley, which is quite useful for increasing weight steadily for progessive overload. There is also a disadvantage in terms of the time taken to load the dumbells and the fact that they aren't that comfortable when rested on your thighs at their ends. I'd recommend these.

Very pleasedPaired with the steel thin plates I can make any dumbbell weight and size which is very good for my limited space home gym. I find them better than a fixed dumbbell as I can rotate the handle and that seems particularly useful when doing chest flies.

ExcelentMy favourite dumbbells by far, as the short sleeve allows me to do flies and use my steel plates to build small dumbbells that allow to rotate the handle. You can't do that with the fixed ones.

Great barsExcellent bars and at a fair price.

Good spinThey spin really freely even when your doing say bicep curls. The knurling is pretty decent but not aggressive. The short ones are big enough for me, I've put the extra thin zinc plates on.
