Olympic Barbells

Olympic barbells are very similar to standard bars, except that the sleeve diameter is larger. With a sleeve diameter of two inches, Olympic bars can hold more weight than the thinner one inch sleeve of a standard barbell. The sleeves on an Olympic bar are also designed to freely rotate, enabling you to lift heavier weights when performing weightlifting exercises.
