Bought a pair of these. Really tough to open and close, over a few weeks and about 10 sessions they’re slowly getting easier but still quite tough.
Contacted MiraFit, who promptly replied and sent me a replacement. But the replacement is even worse, I literally cannot close the collars.
I am using a 6ft MiraFit Olympic barbell, so it’s not like I’ve got some third party bar.
Very confusing, a family member has the same collars and hasn’t had any issues

These are a decent quality item. To start with I struggled as the collars at my local commercial gym don't have the quick release tabs, so I didn't realise these are actually there to be used and it makes it really smooth to release them.

They took one or two goes to break in but are now keeping plates in place with little effort.

Very good collars keeps the weights firmly in place on my dumbell bars even when i load then extremely heavy the collars dont move at all from any kind of dynamic exercises which gives peace of mind. They seem very robust and durable too. Will definitely get more of these.
