Kneeling Crunch
• Place a double tricep rope cable attachment on a Cable Pulley Machine.
• Take a few steps back and kneel, with both knees on the floor.
• Lean your torso forward and pull the rope down. The handles should go either side of your forehead.
WHY IT WORKS: The kneeling crunch lets you progress your crunches by adding weight, instead of adding reps.
Pallof Press
• Place a stirrup handle on a cable machine, at shoulder height.
• Stand side on, and pull the cable out towards your clavicle.
• Press your arms forward, keeping the rest of your body as still as possible.
• Bring the handle back to your collarbone to complete one rep.
VARIATION: You can also perform this exercise with the handle set at chest level.
Woodchopper
• Put a Stirrup Handle on a cable machine. It should be at the tallest setting.
• Hold the stirrup in both hands and, standing side ways, pull it over your shoulder and to the opposite hip.
• Complete your reps on one side before swapping.
TOP TIP: Your torso will rotate during this exercise, but you should keep your legs still.
