I bought a 10 set Studio Barbells from Mirafit here is my overview of the service I was provided...
Ordering and Shipping arrangement...
Ordering was easy enough to do on the website, there was different colour options to choose from which I thought was good too not just the standard black sets. So I opted for the black/grey/orange sets. After ordering I received a fairly prompt email regarding the delivery/shipping information needed. I was told there would be a 4-5 day lag for delivery for these items as they were large and to be delivered on a pallet. That wasn't an issue. I gave them a few days I would be available on and we decided to go for the Friday and I asked them to note on the shipping details to have the driver call me a half hour before delivery as I am not always at the studio or may be taking classes, so would possibly need to have another helper here to offload item due to it being a kerbside delivery.
Delivery...
3 DAYS before my delivery date I was in my studio and instructing a class, when I had a knock at the door, when I opened it I found a man in a high vis vest telling me I had delivery. Yes, they arrived on the Tuesday not the Friday. I had no phone call from the courier prior to this and no tracking number to check so was unaware of the change or early delivery time. I had to quickly call my husband mid class (which felt extremely unprofessional) to come and help sort it out as I had 3 back to back classes that evening. Apart from the delivery date/time fiasco, the packages arrived safely and intact and well wrapped on a pallet.
Set up...
The equipment was simple enough to setup, there are no tools included with the rack so you would need to have the correct sized spanners etc to build it. Once erected, it's very sturdy and stable, and also it have bolt holes on the bottom of the storage rack if you would prefer securing it into place.
Usage...
The classes I have bought these Barbell sets for start next month but I have used the weight plates for a weighted pilates class and they came in very handy. I love the quick release Barbell clips. The set is very nice and good quality, I also like how the bars are slightly padded this is great from a comfort point of view (for doing back squats) and gripping the bar also.
Overall...
Customer service on Miragots side was fab, I don't know what went wrong with the delivery but to be honest I think it was the courier as every delivery I have had seems to be a last minute thing regardless of the company delivering. Maybe provide a shipping number in future. So don't worry Mirafit I won't hold it against you lol.
