Never used a trap bar before in commercial gym so decided to give it ago for my home gym and did not disappoint. Very good quality, stands up in own out the way when not in use, great versatility for home gym being open version. Very happy with purchase

We've been adding to our home gym and this has been the perfect addition. Love the open front to allow lunging and versatility. Love the ease of loading the weights when its on its side. Brilliant bar, would definitely recommend

I can only concur with the other reviews, it’s a very versatile bar, great for deadlifts, with two handle height options, so easy to load. If lifting heavy, you may run out of space with bumpers, but I’m only at 95kg (including bar) so I’ve a way to go yet… unilateral lifts are a since too due to the open side. Great quality as always from Mirafit, who are now my go to site for all gym equipment… (except maybe Concept2, which I go direct, unless Mirafit do any deals )

This open trap bar is fantastic! It’s tremendously good value. It’s compact, but I can get plenty of weight on the bar using iron plates. The bar feels rock solid even when lifting heavy. The jack works very nicely. The knurling on the handles is excellent. A 5 star piece of equipment.

Bought this for shrugs and it's absolutely perfect for this purpose - able to do them seated on the bench without an issue. For me, the knurling is very gentle though, a big difference from my Rogue barbells, so I wouldn't use this for heavy deadlifts but for higher reps or unilateral work it's just right.

56 year old dropping some weight by putting on muscle .. this bar has massively helped my deadlifts - hands are in a better position for me now which is helping me shift some serious amounts of metal now without me worrying about my back!!

Bought this as I’m a beginner lifter I aged 47 years and was getting lower back pain with barbell deadlifts. This seems better for me so far. I bought 100kg crumb bumper plates. These fill most of the room on the sleeves. As I became able to lift all these plates, I bought an extra pair of 25 kg metal calibrated red plates. I don’t need calibration but they are very thin so solve the sleeve space issue well. A good product, very pleased

Grip could be better as coming from PowerblockPro dumbells. Good gel gloves with a wrap on top stops pinching. Integral stand and walk through ability are great. Thin plates required, they are available.
