Really pleased with this bit of kit. Well packaged. Very well made, perfectly balanced and feels like a very good quality piece of equipment. Should last a lifetime! Well worth getting to help save my back and do safer deadlifts.

I am 6'4" and this hex bar is great for me - allows to keep my hands in line with my ankles without bashing my shins and knees in deadlifts.

Having recently started with weights again, I have found using a trap bar much better for me starting and being a women of a certain age, I decided to treat myself to one so far quality is good and I look forward to using it regularly at home.... definately requently! This arrived with an area of rust one of the joints, so that was disappointing, but with a bit of wd40 and rough cloth I was able to clean it up for the most part. This has happened before if I remember correctly on this equipment so maybe better quality control is needed. Anyhow not enough of a problem for me to return it. Otherwise it a good bit of equipment, sturdy and i would think you could get 3 x 20kg plates on each bar if desired.
For the record I am a 62yr old female, just doing a bit of strength training and I was finding it hard with my Olympic barbell to get comfortable with my lifting once I reached 45kg. Aiming to lift my weight (55kg) and decided to swop to this.
Have now achieved this and don't plan to go heavier. This took me a couple of weeks lifting 2 - 3 times a week adding incremental weights until I got to 53kg. Then swapped the plates to 15kg and target achieved. Very happy with this equipment. It definitely made it more comfortable to lift.

Really high quality barbell. Very sharp knurling which may bother some people with sensitive hands, but my husband likes it because he doesn't have to use chalk or straps to improve his grip
