Rows are one of the most important multi-jointed exercises. They develop strength in your upper and mid back while helping to build that important v-shape many strive for.
How To Do a Seal Row
• Lie face down with your chest on a Seal Row Pad attachment.
• Position the Barbell or a pair of dumbbells directly below your chest.
• Pull your shoulder blades down your back and tighten your abs.
• Exhale and pull the weight towards the bench before slowly lowering it back to the ground.
What Are the Benefits of a Seal Row vs a Bent Over Row?

Decreased Lower Back Strain
By lying parallel to the floor during the seal row, your lower back does not need to transfer the weight from the upper body through to the legs and therefore there is no lower back strain. If you are struggling with lower back pain, then this makes this exercise a great option for you.
Increased Back Strength Gains
Often during the standard bent over row we tend to gather some momentum in the movement. The seal row eliminates this and forces you to only use your back muscles, making them work harder.
By resting your chest on a Seal Row Pad, you are forcing the back muscles to work independently for increased strength gains. Seal rows are a multi-jointed exercise that target a wide range of back muscles such as the lats, traps and rear deltoids, so add them into your back sessions today.
