Lovely MatI bought this mat a few weeks ago and I have been searching for a more environmentally friendly one. It has great grip, rolls up nicely and is a really good thickness. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely mat for yoga and stretchingNice feel and good grip on this mat compared to some others I've tried in the past. Good thickness to give a softer surface for yoga and stretching that is easy on the knees.

Too slipperyI had great expectations for my new yoga mat however I have had to go back to my old one as I cannot hold downward dog on this mat as there is no grip.

Thanks for your review. Cork mats are more slippery when dry then some other materials. Cork is a natural material and we do not add coatings to the surface. This mat will challenge you to hold your positions with the correct form and as you sweat you will find the grip improves (the reverse of some other mats!). There are several articles around cork mats online and the benefits. We recommend Googling "cork yoga mats slippery" to find more information on this topic as whether this mat is right for you will depend on your level and the intensity of your sessions. -
Cork Yoga MatI did not receive a carry handle and the mat does not roll out flat like in the video. We have been unable to get it to roll flat. combination of cork and plastic does not work. I have one with a rubber backing and while very heavy works really well i.e. rolls flat and is more cushioned. Also you have to pay for a return!

The mats arrive rolled on delivery. They will take time to lay flat. One way to speed this up is to roll the mat back up in the reverse direction and leave it rolled in that state for a period of time. Hope that helps.
