Power racks can occupy a significant amount of room in a home gym. With this in mind, it is important that you maximise the potential of that space. You can do this by adding plate storage and bar holders.

Rack Mounted Weight Storage Poles and Barbell Holders

By adding storage accessories to your rack, you are making sure you can effectively store your equipment away when you've finished. All power cages in our range have compatible storage poles. Use these to store Olympic or standard plates up off the floor and out of the way.

For our M3 and M4 ranges, you can also buy barbell racks that will hold three bars each.

Part of effective gym design is space optimisation. It is important not to overlook the ability to add storage to your power cages. This can make a huge difference to usable space and enable you to get in the maximum amount of kit to work out with. Weight storage poles on a rack will take up less room than a separate free-standing weight plate tree.

Using a power cage for the storage of plates and bars also removes the need to consider wall mounted gym storage. This can be useful if you don't have suitable walls to fix items to. Check out our gym storage section for a full range of home and commercial gym storage solutions.
