The concept of the landmine is that one end of the bar is anchored to the floor whilst the other end is moved up and down. The end on the floor can be fixed in a number of ways, including an attachment that can be fixed to a power cage or a post that secures a bar inside a weight plate.
At the other end of the bar, you can have a handle attachment that sits perpendicular to the barbell and enables you to get a grip in order to perform the exercise.
A popular exercise is the landmine row variation. This involves standing over the bar and can strengthen your back and improve deadlift technique. Other weightlifting exercises with the landmine attachments include landmine squats and the single arm landmine row.
Increase the load using our bumper plates and train using one of our expertly designed landmine handles. Our collection includes a variety of landmine handles, all with different grips depending on your weight training focus.
From straight grip landmines for upper back and chest development, to angled grip landmines for a diverse range of exercises including shoulder presses. And to make sure your landmine stays secure, choose between our landmine posts (which fit inside the inner rings of our Olympic bumper plates), or our double freestanding landmine posts which are ideal for working out with a training buddy.
And don’t forget our landmine attachments for power racks.
