First impressions aren't always everything.Ok, I wasn't super impressed with these plates when I first unwrapped them. I was expecting bumper plates that were like those in the gyms I had trained trained in before. These plates are chunky and difficult to grip. However, and it's a big however, I really like them now. I understand why they are so thick because of their composition but more importantly they compliment my concrete floor a treat. I'm not one for dropping the weights much anyway but I can feel confident dropping these and not having to worry about damage to the floor. I got a pair of 10s, 15s and 20s and I will buy more once my strength returns. Build quality is great and the thicker plates are actually better for grip training. So it's a win-win.

Great quality platesRecently bought 10kg, 15kg plates really happy with the quality. Not only are they a lot cheaper than other plates they are actually top quality. Bought an ez bar too really impressed. Gonna kit my whole gym out with mirafit now.
