Delivery & Assembly
- Assembly instructions are included. Two people will be required, and we recommend watching our assembly video (available shortly) before attempting assembly
- Assembly requires:
- 2 x 16mm spanners/sockets
- 2 x 18mm spanners/sockets
- 5mm allen key (included)
- A basic universal wrench is included but we do not recommend using this as it is far easier to use spanners/sockets
This product is designed for use in home gyms. It is not suitable for commercial environments.

Amazing MachineThis Mirafit Shoulder Press & Lateral Raise machine is epic! My members & myself love using it. It targets the shoulders in a way that can't be hit with just dumbbells. The fact they have provided the lateral raise is amazing, I have never felt the burn like it throughout delts! Highly recommend!

Good machineGood machine and pretty easy to assemble. I bought it mostly for the shoulder press function and its great, definitely prefer it to using dumbbells.

Not Blown AwayThe biggest job is getting the thing out of all the packaging! 3 large boxes and a ton of polystyrene! The boxes can go to be recycled but the polystyrene equals an unplanned trip to the tip.. Assembly was pretty straightforward - took about 45 minutes on my own. Will probably take it apart again this week to grease all the pivot pins as these are not as smooth as they could be. The biggest issue for me is that at 5' 10" and with the seat set at it's highest point, it is not possible to get a full range of motion on the press - it only comes down to about the top of my ears before it hits the rubber stop. This could be remedied with a seat that went up further but this one won't. And if your shorter than me, the range of movement you will get will be even less. There are two hand positions to press from but the width is fixed - this isn't particularly wide so if you are lucky enough to have very broad shoulders, I doubt this will be for you. The lateral raise I am still playing about with - it feels a bit awkward just yet and needs the seat in the lowest position - I'm not sure it actually goes low enough to get the best out of the movement (maybe it works better for someone shorter than me??). So I'm not blown away with it and it's definitely not the best £500 I ever spent. I wouldn't recommend it to my friends but maybe it can be significantly improved with an after market seat that was more adjustable (both higher and lower). Maybe Mirafit will issue one? I'll update the review further after a few weeks of use but I don't see my opinion changing too much to be honest.

Thanks for your review. We are sorry there is a lot of packaging but if we remove the polystyrene or lessen the packaging the product could arrive damaged. In terms of the range of motion with dual function machines there will usually be some compromise as the machine caters for multiple exercises. The goal of the machine is to be a cost-effective solution for home gyms and the range of motion will be less than on the dedicated machines you would find in a commercial gym, but you should still be able to perform the exercises. We will continue to try and improve this machine further.
