Britain’s Strongest Man 2020



Bio

Adam's strongman journey started off competing in the under 105kg division back in 2010. After winning the title of UK’s Strongest Man u105kg in 2011 Adam made the move up to the strongman division and quickly progressed through the ranks, taking 2nd place at the UK's Strongest Man 2014 behind Eddie Hall.  

Following on from this strong performance, Adam received an invite to Giants Live where he placed 4th in his first international show and qualified for the World's Strongest Man competition in 2015. In recent years Adam has solidified his position as one of Britain's Strongest Men with multiple podium places at Giants Live shows and making the final of WSM three times in a row (2019, 2020 and 2021) with his highest placing being 6th place. One of Adam's best performances came in 2020 where he was crowned Britain's Strongest Man for the first time.  

The majority of Adam's training is completed in his home gym where he prioritizes heavy barbell work and focuses on perfecting the basics. Adam's Goals for the 2022 season include a top 3 placing at WSM and Deadlifting a new world record of 505kg.
