Nice solid bar , worth the moneyGreat bar for close grip bench and standing curls, taking the strain off the wrists.

Very impressedI am very impressed with this bar. The finish is silvery and perfect and the bar feels perfectly balanced and solid, with good bearings. The knurling is just right and it feels good to grip, not too aggressive and not too smooth. The angle of the curve is appropriate to facilitate smooth and comfortable bicep curls. The packing was amazing. It came in a thick cardboard tube with end caps that were not only taped on but stapled. Getting in was an exercise in itself. Inside that the bar was padded with polystyrene ends, and enclosed in a plastic bag, and had plastic end caps as well! This is a very useful bar. In fact, since receiving it I have not used my 7 foot Olympic Bar for anything. It may be called a curl bar, but the curly element is quite slight, so it actually works for every exercise for which a straight bar will work, with the benefits of being more compact and starting a bit lighter. I have used it for rows, overhead presses, bench presses, front squats, overhead squats, snatch drops, tricep presses, skullcrushers etc, as well as for curls, both standing and seated. You can view it as an all round, everyday home gym bar. My gym is in a garage and quite restricted in space, but I have had few problems with it colliding with anything. In summary, excellent value.

Nicely balanced ez barThis is better than I thought it would be for the price. I've previously purchased the short ez bar from mirafit and although it's fine, I didn't like the 25mm shaft. This rackable ez is a completely different story. Feels very nicely balanced and the 28mm shaft is alot better 25mm. For £80 it's a bargain. Knurling is consistant. Not aggressive but not weak. Only problem I have is with DHL, which is not mirafits fault, but they hung on to my delivery from 6am Friday morning saying its due today, but changed it at 4pm to delivery for the following Monday! Very annoying I wish mirafit would use a different carrier, as DHL are pretty useless, at least in the London area. As I said the ez bar is a a great buy and mirafit are a good company to deal with, always respond positively to any problems..
