Excellent piece of equipment: sturdy, racks perfectly on my power rack, and makes a variety of exercises safer and easier on the wrist, elbow and shoulder joints. I use it primarily for close-grip bench press, upright rows, lying triceps extensions (skullcrushers), standing barbell curls, and preacher curls. All of those exercises have irritated my wrist, elbow or shoulder joints when performed with a straight bar. The EZ curl bar moves your hands into a more neutral position, alleviating joint pain. The fact that it’s rackable means you can use heavy weight and not worry about how to manoeuvre the bar into position, and you can use spotter bars in the rack to catch the bar if you fail. For under £80 it’s a remarkably versatile piece of equipment that will get lots of use.

Another good bar from Mirafit. I use Decathlon plates which have a 28mm diameter hole. Removing the sleeves from this bar gives an 8kg rackable bar that will fit my plates perfectly (with the addition of a pipe clamp to stop the plates sliding to far up the bar). I have shorter EZ bars from Decathlon which are fine for biceps curls and standing triceps extensions but when I went to do heavier skull crushers/pull over movements while lying on a bench, the bars were too short to safely fit into the rack. I found that out the hard way when I nearly dislocated my thumb trying to stop a bar fall off the rack! Lesson learned and I bought a bar which is long enough to do the job safely.

Never thought I needed one of these until garage gym reviews recommended it.
Great quality-perfect knurling-nice solid, heavy feel.
Excellent alternative bar at a great price.

I've been curling for years using a straight barbell and dumbbells and developed a few shoulder and wrist problems. This bar makes it far more comfortable doing curls and being rackable it's even more useful for doing tricep extensions, skull crushers and other lifts without killing the wrists and shoulders.
Build quality is excellent, the grip diameter is perfect and the knurling is great and covers enough of the bar to help the grip. It also survived some serious mishandling by UPS when delivered thanks to the packaging and padding inside which prevented any damage to the bar.
Great value for money too compared to other rackable bars out there and very easy to store on a rack which saves space.

Solid and rackable. I rest it on my rack safeties when loading weights and also between sets. Can't go wrong with this bar. Recommend highly.
