Do what they are supposed to doAs the title says. I use these for bench pressing and saved me a few times when going for max. I've never dropped them from any height but for bench pressing they save the need for a spotter.

MIRAFIT M2 BLACK 60MM SAFETY SPOTTERSThese spotter bars are absolutely brilliant, well made which obviously is important given their task. I did a trial and loaded them with 130kg after a DL session and there was no issue. I’m a long way off 130kg bench so these will last me for years. Really positive buying experience overall and the products seem top notch.
