Thought I'd see if this would work in place of a dumbbell for rows, it's not bad but a bit too long when you factor in the carabiner and d-handle. I'll try making a straight handle that fits through the loop at the top.

bought this for finger and grip strength training to load my Olympic plates easily.
The welded flat plate is solid and the loading is smooth and easy. The power coat finish seems to be resistant to any chipping so far and ive used this almost daily since getting it. Not sure how much weight over time the carabiner will handle and if honest it could be a little larger as trying to get it clipped onto the pin and then clip any grip tool to it can be a little annoying just because of its size. I will most likely swap that out for a proper climbing one at some point.
overall excellent addition to the gym and very good price compared to some brands out there
