I needed a non-slip mat as the venue where I teach has a very slippery floor and we had a bad accident where someone stood on a mat and it shot out from underneath them.
This mat is very grippy, good padding and hasn't budged when laid on the floor, even when doing planks, hip dips, etc. I choose the bright orange, so no one would "accidently" walk off with my mat, but it is starting to look a bit grubby already, with some black marks on. So, if you're worried about that, go for the black or grey versions

The mat is thicker than my old workout mat, but lighter. It seems to move about over the floor as a result, but has never slipped. The material is comfortable when lying down, but not very hard wearing; I found slices and cuts in the top layer after only a couple of workouts wearing shoes. The top layer also doesn’t seem particularly grippy against bare skin; doing a downward dog I feel like my hands are trying to slip away; a feeling I never got on my old mat.

Used for tabata workout. Good size and thickness, fit for purpose. One star deducted for edge mashed in transit but not worth returning
