After buying some of these mats I have bought more and am happy with them. However worth mentioning a couple of points - it says in the description "crumb" rubber, and they let out crumbs of rubber which will get on your skin and shoes. I hope this settles down over time and with some vacuuming to get rid. Customer services responded to my query about what "TUV approved" meant and that also seems to have resulted in them updating the description to clarify, which is reassuring. They do have an initial strong rubber smell which is to be expected and did give me a headache initially, but once aired for a week or so this has more or less disappeared completely. Other than that are heavy duty not to be squishy but rubbery enough to absorb any amount of impact.

These are great. Only lifting 65 -75kg but my husband was complaining about the noise when I put the trap bar down on the concrete floor (we are renovating). I don't drop the bar but I gave to agree it was making a noise which vibrated through the floor.
With these in place it's solved the problem.
A tiny bit of the crumb came off initially but otherwise top job!

The mats are good quality thick rubber mats good for deadlifts and slam balls to absorb the heavier gym sessions, would love to get the whole floor done but will have to do that slowly as anything of good quality is expensive.

Although not the cheapest rubber matting online, these are on par with the best I've found. I'd love to know the impact raiting but the rubber density is the same as ones I've had that surpass 300kg loads and if you're lifting that sort of weight, you'll probably want more specialist matter or platforms.
Very pleased with the purchase and if I'd buy again if I wear them out (which isn't going to happen any time soon).

8 of these and it's basically a lifting platform for an amazing price- great quality
would recommend putting the foam ones underneath to cushion the floor if dropping from a height- not a scratch underneath after a month of use
