- Mirafit 20kg Power Bar
- Back in stock and better than ever, with improved design and a choice of four fantastic finishes
- Our Power Bar matches all IPF specs for powerlifting and features a 29mm diameter shaft with a deep aggressive knurl, ideal for heavy lifts
- The bar is stiffer than regular Olympic barbells with less whip, making it ideal for movements such as squats and bench press
- Deeper knurling feels noticeably different in the hand, allowing improved grip during heavy lifts
- The bar features self-lubricating, graphite-infused bronze bushings for lower maintenance and consistently smooth rotation
- Reduced spin compared to bearing bars, offers greater control during heavy lifts
- The ideal barbell for a mix of deadlifts, bench press and squats
- Barbell shaft is available in hard chrome or Cerekote finish
- Barbell sleeves are available in hard chrome or matte black
- Stainless steel outer sleeve bushings for optimal durability
- IPF knurl marks including centre knurl
- Premium metal end caps with Power Bar design
- Laser detailing with weight indicators on the inside of the sleeves
- Suitable for use with Olympic weight plates and bumper plates
- Please note this bar is designed for training. It is not competition certified
- Choice of Finish:
- Hard chrome shaft with hard chrome sleeves
- Black Cerekote shaft with hard chrome sleeves
- Black Cerekote shaft with matte black sleeves
- Orange Cerekote shaft with matte black sleeves
- The matte black sleeves on these bars go through a multi-stage process that actually transforms the surface of the steel (rather than simply adding a coating that could chip off)
- They have a matte black finish rather than a shiny black finish and will still show marks but the surface will not chip or scrape off like a traditional coating
- If you require a sleeve that shows less marks then we recommend the hard chrome sleeves instead

Still giving this item a 5 star rating even though I was messed about quite a bit by the delivery company. Came well packaged, there is definitely quite a difference with the heavier knurling on the bar than my old bar but not in a bad way, will last a lifetime in a home gym environment.

Love the knurling, leaves a lasting mark! Little spin which is great, and no whip…yet! Favourite, go to bar and centre knurling helps with squat grip on back and single arm deadlifts

This bar is better than most gyms I have been too, grip is excellent especially if you have big hands, doesn't feel like it digs into your hands. been using it on 200kg and no flex so you'll have no problem with heavier loads.

I went for the black; it's gorgeous. Even after I've done the big 3 for the day(/week), and shouldn't go anywhere near the bar, I like to bask in its presence. I sit and look at it, cold but pretty - in a rugged sort of way.
I have no experience with a deadlift bar, with whip et al, but can say I don't feel much "flex" (whip) in this thing off the floor. Maybe that's the puny amount I'm able to huff and puff off the ground, but this does feel very sturdy. Simultaneously good (strong) and bad (less whip).
It's a beautiful thing for squats. Benching too, although it's perhaps too wide at 29mm? For squat and bench, the centre knurl helps line up the lift very well: ↔️
The knurl is firm, but doesn't rip my skin. I have little indents, but they go after half an hour so.
The spin is subtle: it'll roll about a half turn, with no weights on. Then stop. As if to say, stop messing around and put on some weight plates already.
Coming from a 5ft, 1in ThreadLock bar to... this: wow. I've widened my (MiraFit) M230 squat rack, and now have vastly better ergonomics for bench and squat. I no longer feel squashed in.
Let's hope this leads to bigger numbers, which reminds me... I'd better go to work: ????????

Nice knurling, not too much rotation, does what it says on the tin. Recommend

Really good bar, upgraded from a cheap ebay bar and theres a huge difference in the way it feels with the grip and the spin of the sleeves. Plus its a uk company.

A very good bar, especially for the price. Very solid and good quality, with no freeplay at the sleeves and a very aggressive knurl. A definite upgrade from a cheaper starter bar. Have used Rogue bars, and this is every bit as good. Also mirafit service is infinitely better in the uk.
