Ordered this because the neck pad in my gym has wandered off so I bought my own and so far seems well made and does the job perfectly well. Good padding and finish I’m quite impressed

I've kitted out my garage gym with Mirafit racks and a few specialist bars including the SSB1. The bar is an invaluable tool for training my clients, a third of whom have some sort of shoulder or neck issue that makes using a straight barbell difficult or impossible for squats. The neck pad is a bit on the soft side so I have bought this replacement one. This has only become an problem recently when one of my stronger clients started using it for lifting over 100kg (which isn't really that heavy). 5 stars for the bar but only 3 stars for the foam inside this pad I am afraid.

The overall construction of this pad is good but the foam inside is not so good. I ordered this as a replacement due to my gyms current one being lost. Sadly after just 2 months the foam inside the pad is already crushed where the neck sits causing pain when using the bar.
I am reordering this as I have no other choice as I need it to use the bar, however the foam density or material needs to be drastically improved or else its going to just keep crushing under weight.

Bought this to replace a pad for a different branded safety squat bar, one that looks similar to what Mirafit stock. The old pad had split. This replacement pad is thicker and more dense and better quality than the original and fits more snug in between the shoulder pads. Overall a great purchase and I expect it to last a while.
