Turned up today after ordering on the weekend (effectively 1 business day to get to my door!) Excellent start...
Initial impressions are excellent. The finish is absolutely top quality and I'm so glad I went for the chrome (rather than the traditional black powder coated axle bar) with the knurling. Sleeves are smooth, end caps are perfect and the bar has absolutely zero defects - the chrome is perfect. Used it for bench and felt really good. Humbling for sure but the knurling definitely helps. Back day tomorrow so will try some seal rows and deadlifts.
Overall, super impressed with both the service from Mirafit and the item itself.

I have been using this bar for a while now so it's time for a review.
The bar is really well made, good welds, good knurling and good chrome. (I like chrome, sorry Brooks but in Cornwall we are surrounded by sea on three sides and bare metal rusts right before your eyes however the only fern I have is in the garden!) The bar weighs in at the Olympic standard 20K and looks strong enough to hold a small car on each end! It has helped to increase my grip strength and grow my forearms. This is an awesome bar, fantastic value for money and should last more than a lifetime.

Going by my special requirements for a bar with a centre length long enough to fit side ways in power racks (130 cm), have at least 50 mm handle thickness and be made of steel this is a 9/10 product and possibly the best product in the UK.
Only flaws are that there are black plastic caps inside the ends, the steel collars that stop the plates from sliding in have a black plastic pad around the middle instead of being a pure steel construction.
This does not need to be any longer but I hope to to see thicker grip versions of a steel 7 ft barbell and the thick grip olympic dumbbells, at least 55 mm in the future.

This is an incredible bar - you won’t find a bar of this quality for less than £100 Quid! Start off light with it, chalk up your hands and hit those deadlifts. You can feel the difference to a regular Olympic bar; this bar works your grip & Lats so much harder! Don’t even think about it: buy one now! Work hard on it for 6 months and when you next use a standard Olympic Bar, it’ll be a piece of cake! I totally love this Bar!

Your grip strength will improve due to the larger circumference of this bar, though your ego initially will be humbled of that same reason. For anyone who's building their home gym this needs to be added. Love it and another fantastic purchase. Next step is a power cage!!!

This is a very thick bar with standard sleeve and clips fitting. This has completely humbled and reduced my deadlift. Ouch that hurt. I'm struggling to type this as my forearms are on fire.
As a strongman fan it does help in my fantasy of being a mini Eddie hall. Humbled but enjoying it. Man I'm strange
