This pulley system is great, I have attached to my Mirafit Multi Grip Wall Mounted Pull Up Bar and have used it for face pulls with a rope attachment and tricep push downs with bar and rope. I have also purchased a second one (also on the pull up bar) and a longer Mirafit cable which allows them to be used together so the weights can be off to one side allowing a standard vertical position for lat pull downs. This works great. I also purchased the aluminium wheels to upgrade, which work great, although the standard ones felt absolutely fine so probably an unnecessary upgrade. The handles that come with it are not very usable or comfortable in my view, at a minimum I would get the adjustable stirrup handles and a rope attachment as a cheap upgrade. However I think Mirafit should supply these as standard, or offer a package. My other suggestions to Mirafit - test the product it and advise in the description how much weight it is rated for. Also advise the weight of the loading pin in the description.

I really wanted a cable machine add on for my M3 half rack but don't have the space. This is the next best thing, easily removable/fitted and great for lat pulldown, tricep pushdown etc.

I bought this pulley system together with the 36" lat pull down bar for my home gym and it is an absolute game changer. Finally, I am able to perform lat pulldowns in my garage. Great quality... super smooth and a pleasure to use. My only recommendation would be for it to be supplied with an adjustable gym cable because the standard cable included and another I purchased were not suitable. Therefore, I ended up having to order a third gym cable - this time adjustable. Does not detract from my delight with this kit though.

This is a sturdy piece of kit that arrived quickly and does exactly what I want it to do. The pulley action is smooth and the whole thing is easy to set up and hangs nicely from the pull-up bar over my stairs. It would be better to have a 1" pin to hang from the chain as feeding the fabric strap through the centre of weight plates is a bit fiddly mid-workout when I want to increase/decrease the load, but other than that I can't fault it at the price.

Equipment is well made (build-quality of the supplied components is excellent) but it requires several add-ons/modification to make it usable: [a] I have 1-inch plates and the supplied strap to hold them is badly designed, being awkward to both load and unload with a tendency for plates to get jammed in position. I had to purchase proper third-party 1-inch loading pins (XFR) to resolve this. I'd have happily bought these from Mirafit but they don't make 1-inch pins - they ought to, and should supply one instead of the strap. [b] It is impossible to get a good grip with the supplied double-strap handle. I bought Mirafit's single-stirrup attachment to replace this and that works well for single-arm exercises. It don't think the design is suitable for two-handed work with any significant weight - see points [x] and [y] below. Kit ought to be supplied with a proper handle. [c] The carabiners have small openings and pointy closers which makes it difficult to attach/unattach fittings when changing weights, especially with the supplied straps which don't bend easily (and their material is inclined to snag on the pointy closer). Luckily 1-inch loading pin came with a carabiner that had a wider aperture and smooth closer. Some general observations (not specific to Mirafit) for anyone thinking of buying this type of standalone cable attachment : [x] The pulley needs to be attached to a point that can take at least 3 times the maximum weight one intends to use (static tension in cable is equal to that of weight plus same force from hands, plus extra acceleration forces from motion). I was unable to source a ready-made wall support with a rated-capacity above 100kg, which would have restricted the maximum weight stack to around 30kg. Seems like a gap in the market for Mirafit here - ideally offering a gallows bracket with T-bar back-plate to enable multiple wall fixings and resist lateral pull. (I'd note here that if one already has a high-mounted pull-up bar rated at 200kg then it can be suspended from that). [y] Because the design only has a single pulley it is not practical to do any exercise that involves pulling directly vertical because the rising weights will hit the grip device. Hence lat pull-downs aren't viable. Design is only suitable for exercises which can be done with the cable at an angle of 10+ degrees. [z] Mount point needs to be at least 8 feet (2.4) metres high if one wishes to use the equipment in standing position, otherwise kneeling or sitting is required.

Another great piece of kit from Mirafit. This Pully system is a game changer when space is at a premium, and you just want to do some Tricep pushdowns and Lat pulldowns, very smooth action throughout those two exercises. You can put it together in about 5 minutes or less, loop it through a bar or beam like I did in my garage, load up some weight and away you go. A perfectly affordable and elegant solution if you dont have space for cable machines.

I’ve bought alot of Mirafit gear and have always been very happy with it, however the pulley & loading pin were disappointing: 1. The pulley, mounting strap & cable form one assembly - making it very difficult to rig/de-rig from your pull-up bar. The kit should really include a short hammock strap & carabiner so the pulley can be easily put away after use. 2. The pulley strap hangs too low, preventing a full ROM on tricep pushdowns. A separate hammock strap & carabiner are required to get the pulley high enough for pushdowns. 3. The cable should have one of those rubber ball ends to prevent the metal clip from hitting the metal pulley. 4. Adding plates to the pin is fiddly due to the design of the pin mounting hole & carabiner. 5. The supplied hand straps are useless. Better handles should be included for the price.
