This Bar is almost flawless. the knarling on the bar is amazing and gives awesome grip. However there is one reason for the first time reviewing a piece of Mirafit equipoment and not giving five stars, there are no rubber seals to go at the end of the inside of the bar, and I found that it made the plates come a little loose, I put a rubber seal on both sides I had form an old 1" bar I had, they fit, and now the plates dont move. I would like to see Mirafit change this and supply a rubber seal for each end going forward.

Pictures don't really do this bar justice. Big upgrade from Argos / York type bars. Bar and spin locks weigh 7.4kg and have a really nice solid feel and smooth mechanical feel to the spinlocks which have rubber inserts against your weight plates.
Barbell has the same rings on it you get at the gym so you can get perfect grip width every time.
Arrived in a really sturdy tube, and just needed a wipe down to remove the transport film of oil.
Fits the M130 squat rack really nicely. Very happy with this for home gym.

I purchased this bar to accompany the M130 Squat stand as my 5ft bars felt too restrictive. It's a great bar and the spin lock collars give added safety and security with plenty of space for plates. Thumbs up!!

Bought this to go with the M130 adjustable rack. Works well for squats, deadlifts, bench press, etc and is great quality.
I use it with the Mirafit standard weight bar collars, which are snap on and save save a lot of time with winding and unwinding the screw on collars.
Don't let the short sleeves worry you, you can still easily get plenty of weight on there with the right plates. If you need more, then you really should be looking at Olympic bars and plates.
