This is really well made and comfy and greatly improves the safety and comfort in doing barbell hipthrusts. The logo is embroidered which further adds to the quality feel. As it has plenty of cushioniing it does narrow the gap that you have to get under the bar of course. I am comfortably lifting 80kg with it so far.

I got this not just for hip thrusts, but also for barbell calf raises, where the bar goes over the knees. I had just been using a standard, gel squat pad, but this just blows that out of the water. Super firm, super comfortable. Well worth the money.

Well padded and functional pad. It’s just slightly too big for me. I have the Mirafit 550mm plates but still have to roll plates onto a pad to raise the height before I can get into position required. For reference I’m 6ft tall and weigh 80kg so not a giant by any means

Thé padding of cushion is broken one week later, very very bad quality ????????????????????????

The cushion is well made, which several of the other reviews mention. It should last a considerable time. Please send us photos to show the issue as you said the padding is broken and we need some more information to understand this. If the cushion is broken, we will happily replace it.

Been 'getting by' using a bolster cushion when performing bridges, finally it just got too painful and also bar not correctly balanced. This large pad has been a game changer, not more pain or wobbly O/Bar, very, very happy with this simple but highly effective item.

Thick and well cushioned, with zip to secure the bar in place which makes total sense. Has transformed my ability to hip thrust heavy weights without being left bruised or feeling uncomfortable

Great idea in theory but not practical. The diameter of the pad is so big that I cannot get the bar into position on my legs. I have smaller than average sized legs so have never had this problem before. It’s just about doable with a light weight as the weights lift off the floor in the start position, but with heavy weights it’s so uncomfortable to get into position that I revert back to my old cheap smaller pad.

Thanks for the review. The pad is the thickness stated in the advert. If you require a thinner pad then we recommend a regular barbell pad but it will not have the benefits of additional cushioning like this pad has. We recommend use with a pair of hip thrust plates for the best setup.
