62 year old female. I prefer to use a trap bar. Lifting 60kg before adding these. 10 kg of shiney chains for which I have had to buy chunky carabiner clips for in order to get the length right for me. I like using them now I have got the lengths right for me. As they were I couldn't get them off the floor as I am short 5'4".

They work fine, there's not much to go wrong, but there is some quite noticeable corrosion on some links of the 12kg chain.

The chains are sturdy but did arrive with some surface rust. Not a problem to me but some people may dislike this. The main thing I have to say is they are what they are but if you want to set the chains up correctly,the chains do not have all you need as the weight is at the very top so don't unload fully unless you get some small chain and a couple of carabineers. Which is extra money. Saying that I spent the extra £15 to get what I needed from b and q. Now they are fit for purpose. Now I can use the whole weight of the chain to my advantage rather than half. I am surprised a company like mirafit have not done this on there own.

Got the 16kg chains a long while back…
Seen them on offer so go the 8kg & 12kg set
8kg were perfect,I didn’t open rhe 12kg set for a few weeks as I wasn’t using them but when I did I noticed they had a lot of rust on them…
I should of sent them back maybe but I think I went over the time…
Still solid as the rest of them but my 16kg are over a year old and in better condition..
Over all ,very good quality,solid and must have for any strength athlete..
Would definitely recommend them

Chains will add an extra dimension to your training. Beware, even though the chains aren't too heavy, they will make lifting a lot harder and you make gains !!!

You need these, your barbell needs these - buy the big ones and enjoy. Watch your fingers when you first pick them up and there was a small metal bur inside the collar of mine which could scratch the barbell but was easy to file off. Other than those two things these are great addition to training

Been doing weighted dips with both chains hanging from my neck. They look big and will get you big. High quality metal.
