Bar’s box section is only 2mm thick and should have been 3mm for a stronger design.
Handles could have been chrome or stainless steel. Powder coat on a high traffic area is not great and will wear away im a short time.
Seems to have been cutting corners to get a cheaper price.
Overall a good bar, but not 5 stars because of those reasons.

The bar design has been tested to over 250kg. A range of metal thicknesses are used and the main connector plates where the sleeves connect are 8mm. If you are lifting more than 250kg then we have other bars that are suitable at a higher price point. The powder coated handles are very durable and will not wear away in a short time. Having handles in stainless steel is not be possible and if it was possible would add a significant cost. We hope other reviewers will feel the bar represents good value.
